Flu shots

We are offering flu vaccine this year and have a "flu shot day" scheduled for November 7th.

Because it takes the body about two weeks to build immunity to the virus, we recommend you wait until then to receive your vaccination. Immunity lasts a few months and wears off sooner in certain individuals. In Tri-Cities, peak flu season is typically January to March. Therefore, if given too soon the initial vaccination may not provide the needed coverage at the peak times when you may be exposed.

For these reasons, we recommend waiting to receive your flu vaccination until November 7th. However, if you would like to have your flu vaccination before then, we will be happy to accommodate you.

Patient with Medicaid will need to go to the Health Department for their vaccinations. We apologize for any inconvenience.

We offer a wide range of services for patients of all ages.
